On April 12, 2022, VoyageDenver released an article featuring FactorEarth™ and Nate Boyless, the FactorEarth™ CEO, in their article “Meet Nate Boyless of FactorEarth”. In the article, Nate discusses the creation of FactorEarth™ and highlights our app, FactorEarth™ Explore.
Where the Story Begins
FactorEarth™ was created to bridge the gap between the cultural resource management world and the public. “To us, the information is very important for professional reasons; to the general public, the subject matter is very popular but not easy to find nor delivered in a fun and meaningful way,” Nate said when explaining the need to find a new way of educating the public, “We set out to change that.”

With the launch of Explore, our first public app, in July 2021, we began bringing stories about cultural heritage and history to the public. “We’ve partnered with nonprofits, local governments, and the Utah Division of State Parks among others to provide a safe place to find authentic, fact-based stories,” Nate said. Explore allows organizations and local communities to create their own content or work with the FactorEarth™ team to publish their stories to our free and accessible app. Read more about FactorEarth™ and how we are doing our part in educating the public here.
What We Love About FactorEarth™
Nate didn’t shy away about listing what he loved most about FactorEarth™. “We are 100% employee-owned. We are proud to be owners of everything we create, from our patents to our products. We love our logo too!”
